Soul Electronics and Nakamichi Joins Tokopedia's Kebut 2018

Tokopedia, one of Indonesia's largest e-commerce platforms will hold Kejutan Belanja Untung (Kebut) 2018. Kebut will present wholesale promo for millions of products with more than 50% off discount from various brands, including local and international brands. This shopping festival becomes Tokopedia’s step to enliven end of 2018 and welcoming 2019. Kebut 2018 will feature millions of online shopping surprises for Tokopedia customers, including cashback, free delivery, cash prize for Rp500 million through Kebut Shake-Shake and many more. The event starts December 5 to 7, 2018.

Previously, Soul Electronics and Nakamichi, both brands managed by Egogo Hub, are participating in the 11.11 Shopping Festival Event. A month before National Online Shopping Day (Harbolnas), precisely on November 11 (“11.11”), e-commerce and marketplace companies are competing to provide the best offers in the form of free shipping promos, cashback and massive discounts for their customers.

According to a survey from, during the 11.11 Festival, the online buyers’ location may divided into two locations, namely Java Island in 53,8% and Outside Java Island for 46,2%.

The customers are typically seeking for the promo of Discount (48,4%), Buy One Get One (34,2%) and Cashback (17,4%).

Meanwhile, a survey conducted by Jakpat showed that the most purchased products by customers are fashion by 59.9%, as followed by gadget and electronics by 36.2%.

The customers recognized information about the 11.11 promo from several channels. Social Media becomes the most widely chosen by both segments to get information about 11.11 shopping festival promos, by 67.5% reaching the female audience and 68.4% reaching male audience.

Generally, Soul Electronics and Nakamichi have recorded a good number of sales during 11.11 and entire November. Soul Electronics has made significant conversion by increasing its sales more than 200% in November 11 and keep increasing until the end of November. A good performance also showed by Nakamichi, as brand also earned 200% sales increase. The 11.11 Shopping Festival is not the only one campaign from Nakamichi, but they also have several campaigns that boosted their sales revenue in November. Those campaigns are included; Flash Sale, Cyber Monday, Black Friday, Payday Deals and many more.
